Get ready for a musical journey by boarding the train where it all began—in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1954—and then traveling through Elvis Presley’s vast repertoire and history all the way to his final days in the spotlight. This hit show has been playing to sold-out crowds since the fall of 2016!

It all started about four years ago when a few friends got together over dinner to listen to old records and hang out. It soon became clear that there was a common thread despite their completely different musical backgrounds. That common thread turned out to be Elvis Presley. This sparked their interest, and an idea began to take shape around the time of Elvis’s 80th birthday. Shortly thereafter, the first shows were booked, which would eventually grow into a well-attended and acclaimed performance a couple of years later.

In summary, you could call it a musical journey where we board the train back to where it all began, in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1954. That’s where Elvis recorded his first demo for his mother, Gladys, as a birthday present, and from there we travel through Elvis Presley’s vast catalog and history all the way to his final days in the spotlight. This musical rock ’n’ roll train alternates between upbeat numbers and ballads, warm banter, a dose of history, and the occasional anecdote from Elvis’s life. The audience is fully engaged throughout, as a lively dialogue unfolds; during Elvis’s signature song “Hound Dog,” for example, they’re invited to join in. Act 1 focuses primarily on his early days at Sun Records and RCA Victor, covering Elvis’s 1950s through the early 1960s, before wrapping things up with his final recordings in the Jungle Room at his home, Graceland, in 1977.

This is a warm and heartfelt tribute performed by five joyful and passionate musicians who pay homage to Elvis from the bottom of their hearts and bring his music into the present day.
