Activities
Yes, the whole of Gysinge is surrounded by nature, with Färnebofjärden National Park just around the corner. So don’t forget your running shoes.
Gysinge Herrgård on the Dalälven River and near the Gysinge Rapids, and you can swim here in both summer and winter. In the summer, you can take a dip in the Dalälven River in front of the manor from our beautiful dock, or at the sandy beach a few hundred meters from the hotel. In the winter, a refreshing cold swim is a popular activity when there isn’t any ice on the river.
Accommodation
It can get really hot here in Gysinge, so we have fans in all our hotel rooms during the summer.
If you'd like a fan in your room during other times of the year, just let the front desk know and we'll set one up for you.

At other times, your calls will be forwarded to one of our sister hotels, which will assist you with your inquiries.
Yes, you must be at least 18 years old to check in alone at Gysinge Herrgård.
Some of our rooms have sofa beds, while others are large enough to accommodate an extra bed for a fee of 200 SEK. We also offer family rooms in the manor house and economy-class rooms for three or four people. Please contact the front desk for more information and to discuss what best suits your needs.
There is a ramp leading to the reception desk at Herrgården, and hotel rooms, conference rooms, and an accessible restroom are located on the ground floor. There is also a small elevator in the Herrgården building, but unfortunately, the rooms are not fully accessible.
Please check in at the reception desk at Herrgården no earlier than 3:00 p.m. If you arrive after 4:00 p.m., please contact us in advance to receive a code so you can gain entry. Check-out is by 11:00 a.m.
Payment
We are a cashless hotel, and you can pay with major credit cards and Swish throughout the property.
Events
Yes, we always offer special packages when we host major events here at Gysinge Herrgård. These packages typically include accommodations, dinner, a hotel breakfast, and, of course, a ticket to the show. You can book online on our website or contact the front desk to make a reservation.
Pets
Yes, we are a pet-friendly hotel and welcome both cats and dogs in certain rooms and buildings. Accommodations are available in all room categories, from Manor Rooms to Economy Rooms.
Since Gysinge Herrgård in a park, there are plenty of places to walk your pet. Please contact the front desk to make a reservation. We charge an additional fee for room cleaning: 250 SEK per stay.
Food
Yes, our chefs prepare meals here using local ingredients and a lot of love. The Orangery serves a daily lunch special and an à la carte menu in the evenings (see opening hours under the “Dining” tab). During the summer, you can enjoy light meals and pastries at Café Udden.
Yes, our delicious hotel breakfast is included in all our room rates. We have everything you need for a great start to the day, from scrambled eggs and bacon to homemade muesli, pastries, and fruit. Of course, we offer lactose-free and gluten-free options—please let us know when you book so we can have everything ready for your arrival.

Parking
Yes, you're welcome to park in the main parking lot; parking is free.
Feel free to charge your electric car while you’re visiting us. We have 18 charging stations in our parking lot that are best suited for those who have time to charge their car for an extended period, such as while you’re sleeping.

Our charging stations have a charging capacity of 22 kW, and the price varies as it is based on the current rate. To use our charging stations, you’ll need the ChargeNode app, which also provides pricing information. You can easily start and control the charging process through the app. You’ll also handle payment through the app. Feel free to ask our staff if you have any questions!
