Join one of the descendants of the former ironworks owner and hear captivating stories about the history of the place and the supernatural events that both guests and staff have experienced over the years.

In the heart of Gästrikland’s iron-rich region, surrounded by lush forests and a mirror-like lake, lies Gammelstilla Whiskey. In the small village of Gammelstilla, new recipes are constantly being tested to find the perfect balance. Once that balance is achieved, the whiskey is aged for at least three years—a wait that is truly worth the result.

During this tasting, you will sample three carefully selected whiskies, accompanied by complementary accompaniments that enhance the experience.

Gysinge Brewery is likely the southernmost brewery in Norrland, specializing primarily in IPAs. With over 15 years of experience brewing local beer, they now supply several local restaurants, pubs, and bars with their highly popular beverages.

During the beer tasting, you’ll sample several different types of beer along with complementary snacks.

Just around the corner from Gysinge Herrgård both a nature reserve and the Dalälven River. Be sure to take a nice walk before the conference begins.

We’ll be paddling through an incredibly scenic area, passing beneath the mighty Gysinge Rapids and into a wildlife and nature reserve home to beaver dams, fish weirs, and bald eagles—who often come to curiously observe our boats.

Forest bathing has been shown to improve concentration, boost mental health, lower stress hormone levels, and reduce blood pressure. Forest bathing can be described as “immersing one’s senses in the forest atmosphere,” and does not involve swimming in water.

You will be guided through an experience of nature with all your senses in beautiful, unspoiled surroundings while lying on a sheepskin rug or in a hammock. This will be a time for recreation and relaxation, tailored to the autumn season.
