Färnebofjärden National Park is one of Sweden’s 30 national parks and is located within the so-called “Limes Norrlandicus”—the biological boundary of Norrland—where southern and northern Swedish plant and animal species meet. For bird enthusiasts, the park is ideal, as its exceptionally rich bird life—with over 100 regularly breeding species—has no parallel in the rest of the country.
