Animal Olympics: The animals have held their own Olympics at the Nature Center! Come try out some of the events yourself. Can you jump as far as a frog? Do you have eyes as sharp as an eagle’s? And are you as cunning as a fox? Everyone who participates will receive a certificate and a small gift.

Craft Workshop: Make animals out of toilet paper rolls.

Quiz Walk: Take it inside the nature center or outdoors. You could win great prizes!

HIKE IN THE NATIONAL PARK

Lace up your hiking boots and let the trail guide you through dense forests and along wild rapids.

Färnebofjärden National Park is one of Sweden’s 30 national parks and is located within the so-called “Limes Norrlandicus”—the biological boundary of Norrland—where southern and northern Swedish plant and animal species meet. For bird enthusiasts, the park is ideal, as its exceptionally rich bird life—with over 100 regularly breeding species—has no parallel in the rest of the country.

At the national park’s main entrance, in the Sevedskvarn area, there is an information center, parking spaces, wind shelters, and fire pits. So bring the family, grill some sausages, and enjoy nature.
