EASTER IN GYSINGE! Celebrate Easter with your family in beautiful Gysinge! Gysinge was Gästrikland’s largest ironworks in the late 1800s, and even today you can see the well-preserved remnants of the town’s Walloon ironworks on the banks of the Dalälven River. There’s plenty to see and do here during Easter!

Celebrate Walpurgis Night with great food, drinks, and music at Orangeriet restaurant!

Celebrate Walpurgis Night in scenic Gysinge with a May bonfire and fire show right next to the babbling Dalälven River. Restaurant Orangeriet will serve a luxurious 3-course dinner in the evening, followed by music and fine drinks. Wake up to our lovely, beautifully set brunch, join our guide Agnetha on a walk around the manor, and then take a stroll to Gysinge Building Preservation and visit their building preservation fair. 

Join us on the Dalälven River and in Färnebofjärden National Park for a peaceful evening kayak trip. Together with Multiadventures, you’ll paddle through areas with several inhabited beaver lodges, just as dusk falls—a time when both people and animals are out and about, offering the chance for close-up encounters.

A warm welcome to the first Spring Exhibition at Gysinge Herrgård beautiful Gysinge Herrgård. The exhibition is being held in the 19th-century warehouse. The artworks on display include paintings, sculptures, glass art, woodwork, and metalwork.
