TERMS & CONDITIONS GYSINGE HERRGÅRD
GENERAL TERMS
You and the hotel agree to the terms of the room rental. The name of the company that operates Gysinge Herrgård Jula Hotell AB (org. no. 556719-5812). Unless otherwise agreed, the following terms apply. For conferences and group bookings, special terms apply in accordance with the industry organization Visita.
Booking and Confirmation
A booking is binding as soon as it has been confirmed and you have received a reservation number. This can be done verbally, in writing, or through our reservation system. When booking, you are required to provide your name, address, arrival and departure times, and your preferred payment method. Different rules apply to different rates; please see the detailed pricing information.
Booking for minors without a parent or guardian present
To book a room at Gysinge Herrgård must be at least 18 years old. Anyone who books a room for a minor is responsible for the room, regardless of whether they accompany the child or not.
Taking guests to the hotel room
For security reasons, we only allow checked-in guests and our employees to enter hotel rooms or other reserved areas.
Cancellations and No-Shows
Cancellation policies may vary depending on the rate plan selected. Please read the detailed pricing information carefully. Unless otherwise agreed upon at the time of booking or the selected rate plan has different rules, cancellations must be made no later than 6:00 p.m. on the day before arrival. If you booked through an online travel agency, such as Booking or Expedia, cancellations must be made through them. No-shows will be charged for one night.
Child policy
One child aged 0–3 stays free of charge per two adults, provided they sleep in the same bed as an adult. Special rates apply for children aged 4–12.
Check-in and check-out
Your hotel room will be available from 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, you must check out by 11:00 a.m.
Late arrival
A deposit may be charged to your credit card in case of late arrival.
Early departures and open-ended stays
If your reservation is for a specific period but you check out early, this may result in a price adjustment. Please contact the front desk to notify us of your departure. If you are staying at the hotel and extend your stay by one day at a time, you must notify us of your departure no later than 6 p.m. the day before departure; otherwise, we reserve the right to charge for an additional day. If the hotel can no longer provide you with the room, you have the right to be notified of this no later than 6 p.m. the day before departure.
PAYMENT – CASHFREE HOTEL
Prepayment is required for some rates; please review the detailed pricing information. This amount will be deducted from the final bill. If you cancel the reservation in violation of the cancellation policy, the hotel reserves the right to retain the booking fee or advance payment. Generally, the hotel bill must be paid upon receipt, either at the time of reservation or upon arrival at the hotel. The hotel accepts major credit cards and Swish. However, the hotel is not obligated to accept credit cards, checks, coupons, or foreign currency unless the hotel has specifically offered to do so.
YOUR OWN SAFETY
Always make sure you know where the emergency exits, alarm buttons, and fire extinguishers are located. Check the information posted on the inside of your hotel room door for details.
Please store valuables and luggage in your hotel room or in the luggage room
Please do not leave valuables or luggage unattended during check-in/check-out, breakfast, or while waiting for transportation. The hotel assumes no liability for storing high-value items or items that could endanger hotel staff or other guests. The hotel is not strictly liable for any property you keep in your hotel room or in your suitcase.
Your specific needs
Many hotels today have adapted certain areas to accommodate guests with disabilities. Please specify your needs when making your reservation to ensure that the hotel is properly equipped and can best prepare for your arrival.
No Smoking
All rooms and common areas are non-smoking. In the event of a violation of the smoking ban, the hotel reserves the right to charge the guest for the cost of cleaning textiles, etc., currently SEK 5,000.
Gysinge is a pet-friendly hotel, and we welcome both cats and dogs in select rooms. Restrictions apply. If you wish to bring a pet, please let us know when you book your room. Of course, we also offer allergy-friendly rooms.
Technical equipment – meetings
If you require any special technical equipment, please let us know well in advance of your arrival. This is so that we can accommodate your needs as much as possible.
Food allergies
If you have any special dietary requests (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, etc.), please let us know at the time of booking so that we can accommodate your needs.
THE HOTEL’S OBLIGATIONS
If the hotel is unable to provide you with a room as agreed, you have the right to receive an equivalent or better room within the hotel or at a hotel of equivalent standard at no additional cost.
